1956 In Portland- Bette Davis Movie Premiere!

WGAN-TV was, I believe, either the sponsor or lead promoter when the Bette Davis movie ” Virgin Queen” premiered in Portland in June of 1956! It was shown at The Strand on Congress Street–and the back of this pic–from the MAB Archives, has the following inscription: “M.J. Gatchell center front, Norman Cotir to her right beside Donald and Sandra Shaw.”
